A Garden of Rooms
The commission was to create a series of outdoor living spaces for a historic Hancock Park estate that felt both grand enough for entertaining and intimate enough for private repose. The design challenge was to honor the home's historic architecture while creating modern functionality. Our solution was a modern interpretation of the California Mediterranean style—a concept of distinct "garden rooms" defined by clean lines, smooth stucco, and warm limestone.
