An Oasis Within The Hills
The commission was to create an outdoor living space that felt like a natural extension of the surrounding Calabasas hills. The design challenge was to create a luxurious, functional retreat that embraced, rather than erased, the arid beauty of the landscape. Our solution was a series of interconnected spaces defined by elemental materials—stone, wood, and concrete—and a planting palette that celebrates the resilience of native flora, creating a sanctuary that is in perfect dialogue with its environment.
